Upper Safety Edge
No sharp edges for easy handling and sieving by hand as part of on-site sampling. The rounded edge also helps seal the gap between multiple sieves in a stack and prevents any unwanted material from accumulating. The use of NBR gaskets on the outside of the sieves allows cleaning & drying at +80 °C without the need of removing the O-Ring.

Lower edge designed for effortless stacking: Our test sieves are easily compatible with 200 mm sieves of all major test sieve brands and can be easily used in a stack of sieves. Blau-Metall sieves and sieve accessories are also compatible with sieve shakers of all the major manufacturers.

A core product of the Blau-Metall product range are represented by grain sieves manufactured and certified according to EN ISO 5223 for classification of grains / cereal in compliance with national and international regulations of Government Intervention Boards. Blau-Metall has specialized in the area of grain sieves for over 25 years and strides to deliver highly precise test sieves with slotted apertures suitable for grain analysis of all types. Combined with chosen round aperture sieves & suitable accessories, we deliver a complete solution for hand-sieving of grain samples on-site as well as laboratory analysis of grain fractions for detailed classification.

Blau-Metall offers test sieves for cereals according to EN ISO 5223 which are suitable for the determination of Besatz / impurities via the methodology outlined by EN 15587. Our portfolio also includes non-standard oblong sieves for specialized sieving needs. Custom-made oblong sieves are available up to a slot width of 16 mm.
Test Sieves with round apertures are used for classifying broken kernels in cereal samples, classification of seeds and sorting of other agricultural samples. They also have a wider application in traditional particle analysis. Blau-Metall offers test sieves according to ISO 3310, ISO 5223 and non-standard round hole sieves starting from 0.5 mm.
Many standards call for the use of suitable test sieve accessories: collecting pans of appropriate size to catch the finest particle fraction, sieve lids to prevent material from escaping and intermediate rings for large sample volumes. Blau-Metall sieves and accessories are suited for manual sieving by hand as well as automatic sieving with a shaker.
